"Are you sleeping Zenith? I'm so tired..." he said, suspressing a yawn. "But sleep is the last step before death. Wake up. Please?" Tim shook her shoulder gently. He closed his eyes, his head hurt so badly...

She didn't know how long she was unconscious. It could have been a few seconds, even a few hours.
But she did wake up. Her arm was throbbing, but Tim had wrapped it to stop the bleeding.
Tim. She looked to her right and saw that he was unconscious now. This wasn't good. "Tim," she hissed, shaking his arm. "Wake up!"

Tim didn't know quite how long he was out, but the next thing he knew, someone was shaking his arm.
"Five more minutes," he muttered softly. He could feel the dried blood and dirt caked in his head. He was almost positive that should have killed him by now.

"Tim," she said and pulled him up as she stood. "We can't be all that far away from Camp. Can you walk that far?"

"I doubt I can even stand up," he told her. "But, on the bright side, I think the bird is gone..."

"Just...try leaning on me," she said, aware of just how much it would hurt with her injured arm. Though he was right, the bird was gone. At least one good thing in a horrible situation.

placing his arm gently around her shoulde,r he tried to avoiding the bandaged area. Once he was on his feet, it felt easier. He took a few steps forward, before leaning back onto Zenith.
"Just how far?" he asked.

She looked around, trying to figure out where they were.
"Well...Slight problem," she said, her voice barely over a whisper. "Tim, I think we're lost."

"Could this day get any worse?" he mused outloud. This was really not the way he saw it going when he stepped out of his cabin that morning. Count your blessings Tim: You're not alone, and that ugly bird it gone. Yeah.

"Hey, the bird could still be here and it could be raining," she suggested.
Ironically, right then it began to pour.
"I'm going to shut up now," she said, feeling light-headed again.

Tim normally would have laughed at that. But he just hummed a little, to show his amusement.
"I think we go left, I hear running water... maybe," he said.

"But weren't we just ten yards or so away from Camp before?" she questioned, knowing that her logic may have been clouded by the fact that her brain felt rather fuzzy. She could only imagine how Tim was feeling.
"Ugh, we need someone to help us out of this," she groaned.

"I don't know. I might be imagining the water like I'm imagining the taste of vanilla ice cream. Or maybe I just heard the rain," he said.
"But we'll get through this, even if I suffer brain damage or whatever. We're past the dying part."

She rolled her eyes. "Not if we can't find a way out of here, we're not," she argued. "You think you hear water," she sighed. "Well...it's the only lead we've got. I'll follow you."

"Are you bipolar? Because a few minutes ago, I thought we were dying and YOU were the optimistic one." They lurched towards where he had heard the water.
"Well, that's just great," he said.
