Name: Timon (Tim) Raphael Burke
Timon means ‘honor’ and Raphael means 'whom God has healed'
Age: 16 1/2
Parents: Eros and Jane Burke
Allegiance: Gods
Years at Camp Half-blood: Five. Year rounder.
Note: Tim is bisexual. “Why limit yourself to 50% of the population?”
Appearance: His father is the god of lust, and he’s the grandson of Aphrodite, so of course he’s appealing. To say the least. With fine bones and slim muscles Tim is quick on his feet. Dark brown hair that is always flicked about his forehead in a casual way contrasts with his striking pale green eyes.
At 5‘11” he wishes he would stop growing, though he’s pretty sure he has to stop soon. Smooth milk and honey skin completes his image, as well as that winning smile.
Partial to whatever’s clean at the moment, Tim doesn’t really have a sense of style, but he pulls it off whatever he wears.
Personality: Tim comes of as just another shallow teenage guy. And in most perspectives, he is. He’s soccer player. He’s a flirt. Flirting is a second language to him. As long as their moderately attractive, around his age, and human. He loves parties, he smiles a lot, he’s easily entertained.
He’s a pretty easy going guy, and he has a kind of innocence that you notice within the first couple minutes after making his acquaintance. When he’s excited, it’s easy to see that he acts something like a child at Christmas.
Past all that, Tim does have something of a head on his shoulders. Though he always struggled with school, he had decent grades (until he stopped going five years ago when he arrived at camp.) He’s a quick leaner and willing to acquire vital skills. He’s kind and compassionate and easy to get along with.
Likes:
- A thing called l o v e
- People in general
- Guinea Pigs
- Pineapple Shortcake
- Old horror movies (Dracula, Frankenstein, etc.)
- Photography
- When people cooperate
- Archery
Dislikes:
- People who hog bathrooms (i.e. All the people in the Aphrodite cabin)
- His mother
- Meat- he’s a vegetarian
- Peanut Butter
- Kronos
- Traitors
Strengths:
- He can put his empathetic nature behind him when needed

- Resourceful
Weaknesses:
- Sometimes the empathy gets in the way a little
- He’s not that great with melee fighting, close range
- He’s easily seduced, though that can work either way ^_^
Powers: Powers? Well, he attracts people like bees. He adopts the persons favorite attribute in a partner and uses it. It’s strange really…
Weapons: He has a bow and arrow set called ‘Abrax’ (meaning ’light’) which exudes golden light when monsters are near (LotR much?) and a knife for close range called 'Erebos' meaning 'darkness'.
History: He’s never gotten along with his mother. You’d think that finding out your dad is immortal and these immortals are at war might be stressful. For Tim it was almost a relief.
He automatically decided that he liked camp, and as soon as he was claimed, went to stay with his aunts and uncles in the Aphrodite cabin. He got used to the catty attitude and competition to be the best. When he found out more about the Titan’s Army, he was disgusted. And when his ex, Maxine, daughter of Apollo, betrayed camp, he was repulsed. He hates traitors. He loves camp.
Over the five years he’s been at camp, he’s made an impression. He’s second in command in the Aphrodite cabin, and he isn’t even her son. He’s dated lots of people on and off and has a bunch of friends.
His deepest fear? The gods losing.
Roleplay Sample:
Tim loved days like these. Sunny, but not sweltering. Not cloudy, but a few wisps of fluff at the tips of a azure sky until it sunk over the horizon line. Well, wasn’t he poetic today?
Ignoring the fight between two young members of the Aphrodite cabin over who’s comb it was or something, he stepped towards the pavilion, wanting some breakfast. His mint green eyes took in camp that morning: Beckendorf at the forge (before breakfast, as always), the Stoll brothers carrying a suspicious bucket of homey towards the Ares cabin, a disgruntled looking Clarisse blocking their way. And then that creepy girl Des, whom always looked like she was listening hard. Perhaps she was hard of hearing?
He wouldn’t count it out as a possibility. Tim smiled to himself, today there was archery practice. Besides the climbing wall, that was his forte.
