Name: Cain Westerson
Age: 16
Parents: Maria Westerson and Hermes
Allegiance: Gods
Years at Camp Half-blood: 7
Appearance: Shaggy hair that he describes as having 'the color of mud.' It's always in his eyes, which are an emerald green. He's short (only 5'6) but is convinced that he's about to hit a growth spurt. Gives off an aristocratic vibe due to the fact that the Westersons have a long and wealthy legacy in New York.
Personality: Loves playing around with people and generally being a nuisance. Is a slacker and puts things off as long as he can. Is used to being privileged, so he can kind of be stuck up at times. Good at negotiating and getting what he wants. He's also quite the lady's man.
Likes: Money, girls, expensive things, girls, procrastinating, bragging to people, bananas, and did I mention girls?
Dislikes: Responsibility, long term commitments, high expectations of him, authority figures, and has a giant fear of water.
Strengths: Good at persuading people and negotiating. Also good at talking his way out of trouble. He's so so at fighting, but prefers to talk his way out of things.
Weaknesses: As said before, he's not the greatest at fighting. He also doesn't like to admit when he's wrong or take advice from others.
Powers: N\A
Weapons: A dagger that he bought for a very large amount of money...although he rarely uses it and never bothered to name it.
History: Cain was born into a very wealthy family, and his mom got married to his step-dad shortly after he was born, so his step-dad has always been like a father to him. He even thought that his step-dad was his father for 9 years!
He grew up with no luxury denied to him. He never had to work a day in his life and anything he wanted was given to him.
So he-being a very bored son of Hermes-took every opportunity he could to make trouble. His mom would just have their hired help deal with him.
When he was 9 and had two younger brothers (Adam and Noah), his mom told his step-dad and him that they weren't genetically related. His step-dad was mad at his mom for not being honest with him, but never felt any hard feelings towards Cain himself.
His mom and step-dad divorced that year, and that was when he started going to Camp Half-Blood. Cain thought his step-dad hated him and that he was the reason his parents split, even though it really was a number of issues they were having that caused them to divorce.
He never liked Hermes at all, but he isn't going to join the titans. He actually doesn't like that side of his family at all, but it is better than his family at home.
His mother always had the attitude like she was better than other people because she was part of a legacy, so that attitude kind of wore off on Cain.
All in all, he's just a typical Hermes kid with a very large amount of money and a snotty attitude who blames his parents for ruining his life.
Roleplay Sample: Walk like you've got a greater purpose than those around you and people will respect you. Those words Cain's mother had told him when he was just a little kid echoed in his mind as he got out of his family's car. Another school year had come and gone and it was time to begin the summer at Camp Half-Blood.
Walking to his cabin, a few guys he was on good terms with waved or called out a greeting. He acknowledged them with a nod or slight wave.
He didn't have friends. He had people he was on good terms with, the people he didn't pay attention to...and then there were the people who wanted to beat the crap out of him.
Cain didn't need friends. All he needed was himself and the occasional girlfriend to keep life interesting.
He saw a pretty girl-he thought she was a daughter of Aphrodite-and smiled at her. She was a bit tall for his taste, but she would do to start with.
He'd find a way to make this summer interesting.
