Well, I'm not finished but I skimmed through LO last night and know the majority of what happens.
And I have to say that I'm horribly disappointed. Some parts were cheesy enough to dip nachos in, while others were just...blah.
So for those of you who finished, what did you think?

I guess I expected way more than what's reasonable for a children's book...That's part of the problem with it.

Yeah. If I ever become a writer, which isn't likely I'm going to write for teenagers, and nothing stupid like Twilight.

I was dissapointed, and I really didn't like the plot holes. Like 60 odd years, and ono one thought that hero might not mean the child of the big three?
And the cliched underwater kiss. Along with the predictable plot, and Rachel being the oracle

Agreed. Some parts felt like they were put there just to make the end easier to get to, and to avoid making the book any longer. Kind of like how Bella had no trouble being a vampire in Breaking Dawn...
Does anyone else think that the statue falling on Thalia was just so RR wouldn't have to do a dramatic Thuke scene?

Yes! But I'll leave this one up to Erin...

Oh well. In my opinion, Thuke was never meant to happen. That's why people like it. All the angsty goodness.
