5 confirmed cases in UK, 40+ in America, 2000+ in Mexico. Wow, this is bad guys. I've got a cold and I keep thinking, "I've got swine flu!" But luckily, not me or one of my friends have been to Mexico, so I think i'm safe.

I know! The first kid died in America today. I'm really paranoid about it.

Cara, just so you know, my history teacher told us that the kid who died was from Mexico, but was in the US for a little bit of time and died here. So technically no Americans have died, although people have died in America.

It's just really creepy and I can't stand the thought of wearing a crappy plastic mask for ages XD. I shouldn't laugh at this, but on BBC news today, they were outside the school where this girl got swine flu and some guy ran infront of the camera with a gas mask on XD.

Wow... jeez. My mom insists it's nothing, but I'm creeped out. This is worse then the bird flu! And my Aunt has a pet pig.

I would advise you to kill it then eat it now. Mostly because pigs taste nice.

Lol. I'm slightly scared, but I just sort of put it out of my mind.

There seem to be new health safety posters in all the elevators and stairwells on campus.

Reasons to worry:
It's spreading fast. It's the same subtype virus as the Spanish Influenza.
Reasons to not worry:
Antibiotics seem to be working against it.

A kid in my brother's class got flu-like symptoms after returning from Cancun, Mexico. This called for school being cancelled a day after everyone was already infected. I still have to go to school because if I have it, I'm contagious anyway. XD That ship has sailed.

Reason not to worry:
This is like Bird Flu. That didn't really kill many people

Reason's not to worry
It's not as lethal as Birdflu It's not killed anyone who's not from mexico, so no one is sure if another bug is going around at the same time, which is why there are so many deaths. Quite a lot of Contries are stocked up on medication for birdflu already. Swine flu doesn't actually kill you.
Reason's to worry It may not kill you, buy like all flu's, it can lead to pneumonia, which is why it can be lethal.

I actually heard from a friend that in order for swine flu to become mutated enough for humans to get it, some person would have had to create it...
o.0 Scary thought...
